KidsFest

Gallery Children’s Biennale
If you’re looking for an artistic adventure, head to the National Gallery Singapore for the Gallery Children’s Biennale, happening next in 2021. The Biennale aims to nurture a generation of art-loving children, and features interactive art installations, talks, tours and craft workshops.
Other family-friendly sections of the National Gallery Singapore include the Keppel Centre for Art Education, where children can create their own artworks and discover art through play.
Rainforest Lumina
If you’re looking to walk on the wild side with your family, the Rainforest Lumina night trail at the Singapore Zoo will make for the perfect excursion. This interactive media walk merges a compelling narrative with an enthralling, audio-visual spectacle.
The trail itself takes place across multiple interactive zones, regaling visitors with the exploits of the unlikely team of heroes known as the Creature Crew. It’s a great way to have a romp with the family while teaching your little ones about sustainability and the beauty of nature.

Singapore Science Festival
Proud parents of aspiring Einsteins and Marie Curies? You’ll want to further fuel your child’s love for science at the Singapore Science Festival, an annual event that celebrates the wonders of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The science shenanigans run for almost a month, and there’re exciting new line-ups every year. Crowd favourites that return regularly include X-periment!—a three-day carnival that showcases cutting edge research and innovation, and the Science Buskers Festival. The latter showcases science in accessible, exciting ways, with past experiments including snowmaking and the replication of spells from the Harry Potter novels.
Singapore Night Festival
Discover the Lion City after dark with the Singapore Night Festival, a two-week festival that transforms the civic district into a realm of wonderment and unforgettable spectacle.
This annual extravaganza features a kaleidoscope of street art and surreal light sculptures, live music and enchanting performances from international and local artists.
It’s easy to get lost amidst the bustle of activity, so be sure to get your bearings from the Festival Village, which boasts street food stalls and a flea market.
October – December
Singapore Writer’s Festival
Stories help us make sense of the world, and parents who’d like to encourage their children to read can get assistance from some of the literary world’s brightest stars. The Singapore Writer’s Festival is an annual affair that regularly hosts some of the world’s most prominent novelists, poets and storytellers, from Pulitzer Prize winner Junot Diaz to British poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy.
The festival’s kid’s programming branch, SWF3 (also known as Singapore’s Writer’s Festival for Families) has world-renowned and locally loved authors holding readings, educational workshops and interactive activities for tots and teens alike.

Santa Run for Wishes
Teach your little ones the virtue of empathy while running for a good cause with Santa Run For Wishes.
An annual-sporting event by the Make-A-Wish Singapore, this festive marathon is held at the Singapore Sports Hub, and raises money for a worthwhile cause. All registration and donation proceeds from the event will be used to fulfil wishes for children with critical medical conditions.
